It was a great day to be a young gay man and legal enthusiast in California yesterday. A Federal judge ruled that California’s same-sex marriage band – Prop 8 – is unconstitutional and is overturned. I have little else to say on the subject other than I am very excited by this ruling. This is a great victory for equality and the LGBT movement in California and across the country. It’s cases like these that really make me rethink going to law school.
