East Bay Young Dems (EBYD) invites you to join us for an FPPC training with California Democratic Party Controller Hilary Crosby on Monday, November 16 from 6:30 to 8:45pm at the Greenlining Institute (1918 University Avenue, Berkeley). On the off year, EBYD focused our energy primarily on building our political capital – in both membership numbers and finances – in preparation for a very full and a very instrumental election year on the local, state, and federal levels.
To ensure that we have all our ducks in a row leading up to the 2010 primaries and general election in November, Controller Crosby will walk us through all necessary filing forms, explain best practices and financing must-haves, as well as offer tips tailored to EBYD’s needs.

8:45pm – XCOMM Meeting

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, please note that EBYD is holding our (very brief) NOVEMBER XCOMM meeting immediately following the training. December’s Cozy Cocktails event and the 2010 XComm Officer Retreat are on the agenda.
